Congratulations to our alumnus, Joseph Cadora, who published his book, Rilke: New Poems, with a foreword by Robert Hass, in 2014.

Congratulations to our alumnus, Martin Zirulnik, who was awarded the UC Berkeley English Department Citation for Graduating Seniors in 2011; he was the sole recipient of this award.  Martin is currently earning a PhD in English Literature at UCLA.

Congratulations to our alumnus, Jack Howells, who won the UC Berkeley English department’s 2011 “Bertrand Bronson Prize for the Outstanding Senior Honor’s Thesis,” as well as the Center for British Studies’ Kirk Underhill Undergraduate Paper Prize.  Jack  earned his BA in English literature at UC Berkeley.
