Transfer Alliance Project (TAP)

A highly successful academic advising and enrichment program serving more than 1,000 underserved students at 45 California community colleges. Participants receive support services designed to facilitate their transfer to the University of California and other baccalaureate-granting institutions.

Monday-Friday, Drop In: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. By Appointment: 2 – 4 p.m(contact to schedule)
The center has opened for the Spring 2024 semester! We are in room 243 of BCC  from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. & schedule 1:1 student appointments from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday – Friday. The center provides year round information, guidance and support for transfer to 4 year Public, Private, In and Out of State colleges and universities. Additional services include Letter of Recommendations, Guidance of College Reports, Transfer Application Assistance, Appointments with college Admission Advisors, Transfer, Career, Scholarship, and Employment Workshops. Appointments to assist with Transfer and/or Cover Letters, Resume, and Career/Academic Exploration and any other requests that can be offered remotely and in person.

We are located on the second floor of Berkeley City College, in room 243.

Appointments are available for concentrated career exploration, employment, and internship inquiries. Please call, e-mail or come into the center to schedule an appointment. All general questions can be addressed via a drop-in meeting during our operating hours.
