Pam Stalker

Pam Stalker, Mulitmedia Instructor

Education: Who is Pam Stalker? Animator, Illustrator, Director, Graphic Designer, Painter, Pet Whisperer, and Teacher. Former resident of Michigan, Pam(she/her) moved to California to study animation. She graduated from CalArts with a MFA in Experimental Animation, under the mentorship of Jules Engel. She fled LA for San Francisco and has lived in the Bay area with an occasional work induced trip to LA. She has animated and directed for various animation companies including Disney TV, Industrial Light and Magic, Klasky Csupo, Acme Filmworks, Colossal Pictures, and Wildbrain. Her adventures include working on the shows Rocko’s Modern Life, The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers; Michael Jackson & Eddie Murphy’s Whatzupwitu music video; commercials; documentaries; and even the longest continuous playing animation for Knott’s Berry Farm’s Mystery Lodge. Her awards include a 1998 Annie Award for outstanding achievement in animated Title sequence, nominated for 1998 Annie Award for two 15 sec. spots and a 1999 CINE Golden Eagle Master Series Award, Non-Broadcast Films. She began working in Digital art in the 1990s but worked both in digital and traditional. Then, 12 years ago, Pam threw herself in front of the Teaching Bus and found her greatest challenge – teaching her passion for animation and art to young talent and future creatives!
