Why are we having a virtual commencement this year?

Due to COVID-19 and the current shelter-in-place, public events and gatherings are not permitted. With that being said, we understand that this is a huge accomplish for all of you. We are proud to have you as graduates of our college. We have made the decision to have a virtual commencement to celebrate your accomplishments.

Will there be an in-person commencement?

We will be considering holding an in-person commencement when the shelter-in-place is lifted and it is safe for all of us to gather. The safety of everyone is our priority.

How exactly will a virtual commencement work?

A link will be e-mailed to you where you will be able to upload a photo of yourself and a message. The deadline is May 6th, 2020 to submit your photo and message.

Will I be able to purchase a cap and gown?

Yes, you may be able to purchase a cap and gown through our bookstore at https://www.berkeleycitycollege.edu/bookstore/

When will I be able to receive my degree?

You should be receiving your degree by late August via mail.
