Dear Graduates,

 

This is just a friendly reminder about our commencement scheduled for Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 at 11am. We are incredibly proud of your hard work and excited to celebrate this milestone with you, your friends, and family.

Here are the important details for your reference:

Date and Time: Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 at 11am
Venue: Zellerbach Hall at UC Berkeley
Parking: Please see attached map for parking information. Please arrive as early as you can so you can find parking. We also encourage public transit by taking BART and getting off at the Downtown Berkeley BART station. It is about a 0.6 mile walk to Zellerbach Hall.
Dress Code: Please wear your regalia.

  • Please order your regalia at this link. You can start ordering now. You may pick up your regalia at the BCC bookstore starting May 2nd.

  • You may also order from the BCC bookstore physically starting May 2nd and you may pick it up at the bookstore on the same day.
  • You may also order your regalia during Grad Fair on May 13 from 12-2pm in the Atrium.

All graduates must arrive by 9:45am to sign in at the check-in desk and line up. You will be asked to fill out a card that will ask you for your name, pronunciation, degrees, if you are receiving honors, and if you are transferring and where to. Graduates who qualify as honors will also be able to receive their honor cords when they check in.

Additionally, here are some points to remember:

  • Zellerbach Auditorium doors will open for guests at 10:00am.
  • The academic processional will begin promptly at 10:45am.

Grad Fair: Join us for our grad fair to pick up your regalia, decorate your cap, and celebrate your successes with other graduates! The grad fair will take place on Monday, May 13th between 12 – 2pm in the college atrium. You may also order your regalia during Grad Fair on May 13 from 12-2pm in the Atrium. Students who qualify as honors will also be able to receive their honor cords during grad fair.
