Welcome to the BCC Career Counseling site! Choosing a major and/or career can feel intimidating and frustrating. We are here to help. Follow the steps below to find clarity, discover possibilities, and start planning for your future.

For one-on-one Career Counseling appointments please schedule an appointment with Salvador Victoria (Career/General Counselor) by clicking here, calling our office (510-981-5036), or by stopping by the counseling office (2nd floor at Berkeley City College) to speak with our front office staff. Please exercise patience when requesting an appointment, certain times of the year are busier than others.

This is the first step in finding a major and/or career that is right for you. The assessmentsCareer assessments focus on learning about yourself to better understand which careers/majors may suit you best. Assessments test your interests, skills, values, and personality type and suggest potential careers based on your input.​
