Add/Drop Classes

Add and Drop Dates are available on the Academic Calendar

Adding Classes
Generally, classes can be added online through Campus Solutions or in-person at Admissions & Records at Berkeley City College with an Add Card . There are two add dates:

“Last Day to Add without a Permission Number or Add card”

And

“Last Day to Add Regular Session Classes in person with a Permission Number on Add Card”

If the deadline to add without a permission number has passed—classes may be added online with an instructor-issued permission number.

To request a permission number, email your instructor and copy BCC-VPIOFFICE@peralta.edu and request a permission number. Include your name, SID, and the course information including the 5 digit course code.

Dropping Classes
Students can drop classes online through Campus Solutions or in-person at Admissions & Records at Berkeley City College with a Drop Card. Check the Academic Calendar for drop dates.

Add and Drop dates can be found on the Academic Calendar and on your Campus Solutions page on your class schedule. Click Enrollment Deadlines to access the drop calendar for each course. Important: Depending on the start date, courses will have different Drop deadlines—make sure you check the Enrollment Deadline for each class in your schedule.
