The interdisciplinary Department of Arts and Cultural Studies joins programs and disciplines focusing on the critical study of creative expressions, thoughts, practices, and products in relation to social, political, historical, rhetorical, and economic contexts.

In addition, the Department houses programs and courses allowing for the practical study of such expressions as painting, mural production, music, speech, aesthetics, and performance.
