Join us for a chat and discussion featuring nationally awarded author, and social justice advocate Julissa Arce, as we kick off Undocumented Student Action Week with a plática among all the Peralta schools. Julissa is the author of critically acclaimed books, “My (Underground) American Dream” and “Someone Like Me.” In her writings, she shares her personal journey, from living in the shadows as an undocumented immigrant to becoming a prominent Wall Street executive. She uses her platform to raise awareness about immigration issues, education, and social justice.
