Important Enrollment Info for RETURNING STUDENTS

If you cannot login or add a class from your PASSPORT Student Center — you may be a “Returning Student”. Please read the example scenarios below. The District does not send “welcoming emails” to Returning Students when they re-submit (i.e. reactivate) their CCCApply application. The District only sends Welcome Emails to New Students when they create a new Peralta Student Account.

 

Example 1: If you submitted an application in Fall 2010 and did not attend any classes, you are a Returning Student and you must re-submit (i.e. reactivate) your application through your CCCApply account. You will not receive a Welcome Email.

 

Example 2: If you submitted an application for Fall 2015 but never enrolled in any classes, you are a Returning Student. So you must re-submit (i.e. reactivate) your CCCApply application. You will not receive a Welcome Email.

 

Example 3: If you took classes in the past but have not enrolled in any classes in the last 2 semesters, then you are a Returning Student. You must re-submit (i.e. reactivate) your CCCApply application. You will not receive a Welcome Email.

 

After re-submitting your application, try logging in to your Peralta Student Account on PASSPORT (http://passport2.peralta.edu/). It may take 24 hours. If you have trouble logging in and you cannot recover your login information using “Lost Password” (see Cannot Login to PASSPORT below), then send an email to reset@peralta.edu that includes your full name, your Peralta Student ID #, and a description indicating you cannot recover your login information using Lost Password.

 

If you re-submitted your application and are able to login and go to your Student Center on PASSPORT, but you cannot add any Spring 2016 classes, then your next step is to check if you owe any fees (and pay them online), or meet with a counselor to clear any pre-requisites, or complete your assessment testing, or add yourself to the wait list for the class if the class is already full.
