Joan Berezin, BCC history professor and coordinator of the Global Studies Program, and Kimberly Sagastume, BCC student and president of the Global Studies Club, describe the program’s philosophy, its cohort model and its connections to the college and to local community organizations.
Nola Hadley-Torres, PACE coordinator, and Deborah Smith-Evans, PACE alumna, explain the benefits of joining the PACE cohort at BCC for adults who wish to begin or restart their college education while working, caring for children and/or elder relatives.
