Our end of the year events are quickly approaching and we need to develop some work groups for the planning. The events will all take place May 8-11th during what is being called “ReThink Justice Week”. Please review the 2 work group options below and reply to me (not all) with your preferred group.

May 8-9th Work Group- This group will plan and implement the artistic expression piece of RTJ Week. Some of the tasks this group may complete:
– Encouraging faculty to provide extra credit for students who submit posters, works of art, and/or poetry to the events
– Organizing the art submissions so they can be displayed appropriately
– Getting speakers to participate in the readings and spoken word

May 10-11th Work Group- This group will plan and implement the discussion piece of RTJ Week. Some of the tasks this group may complete:
– Developing discussion guides for facilitators
– Choosing topics and format of the discussions
– Encouraging faculty to provide extra credit for students who engage in the events

If you want to provide your expertise to one of the work groups please let me know by March 22nd.
