4 Components of the CHW Registered Apprenticeship
1-Wage Progression: Apprentices are employees from day one, earning a salary that increases as they master new skills.
2-Portable Credential: A certification that apprentices can carry with them and use across employers and locations within an industry.

4-On-the-Job Training
- Conduct cultural mediation among individuals and communities.
- Provide culturally appropriate health education.
- Care coordination and system navigation.
- Provide coaching and social support.
- Advocate for individuals and community.
- Build individual and community capacity.
- Provide direct services and conduct outreach.
- Implement individual and community assessments.
- Participate in evaluation and feedback.
