Registered Apprenticeships are hands-on pathways where students earn a paycheck, gain real-world experience, and take college classes at the same time. Apprentices build skills in a specific career field while learning directly on the job with support from mentors and instructors.
Registered with the State of California and the U.S. Department of Labor, these programs combine paid work, classroom learning, and guided training to move apprentices into stable, higher-wage careers.
At Berkeley City College, students complete their Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) while working, earning college credit and industry-recognized credentials with little or no tuition. It’s a practical, supported way to build your future and get ahead.
