Branding Assets and Resources
The Berkeley City College Brand Guide is a key resource for maintaining consistency in how our college is represented. It offers essential design and branding tools—including logos, color palettes, and typography—that help create unified, meaningful, and memorable communications across all platforms. Consistent use of these elements strengthens our visual identity and supports the impact of our stories, webpages, and materials. Meet Ollie the Owl, BCC's First Mascot!
Over the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters, BCC developed its first-ever mascot—Ollie the Owl! The process included several rounds of surveys, culminating in a final vote featuring concept art created by BCC students. The winning design was submitted by Multimedia Art student Yunha Kim, who later partnered with PCCD graphic designer Marcus Creel to bring the final version to life.
Ollie symbolizes the wisdom, knowledge, and insight that define BCC students, faculty, and staff. We’re excited to see Ollie become a lasting emblem of school spirit and pride for years to come!
