Through the platform, students can easily explore jobs, internships, career fairs, and on-campus events that support professional growth and development. Within Berkeley City College’s collections, students can also discover opportunities tailored to their specific majors and career interests, helping them take meaningful steps toward their future goals.

How to sign up for Handshake step-by-step: 

  1. Go to berkeleycitycollege.joinhandshake.com, download the app, or search up Handshake on the web

  2. Click “BCC Students or Sign Up” 

  3. Sign up with your Peralta Portal Username and Password

  4. Verify your email by checking ur inbox and clicking the verification link 

  5. Follow the prompts and create your profile (major, graduation year, interests) 

  6. Start exploring: browse jobs, internships, career fairs, and events!
