Linda McAllister

Linda McAllister is a full-time instructor at Berkeley City College and has been teaching at BCC for eighteen years. Her research interests in sociology include deviance and social control, thanatology (death studies), identity construction, and new religious movements. When not working with students, she spends her time writing postcards, attempting to get her dog to fetch a ball, or walking around a cemetery. Any BCC student wanting to talk about social sciences majors, writing personal statements for transfer, academic pathways, music and movies, or topics of general interest to a sociologist should message her.
