Biography

  • Maurice Martin, Co-Lead of BCC Safety Aide

Maurice Martin, second semester as co-team leader as BCC Safety Aide. A transfer student from San Diego City College  Spring 2014, with two certificates with high honors in Peace Studies and Labor studies. Now a third semester student at Berkeley City College  majoring in Global Studies, also studying at UC Berkeley  part of the BCC and UC Berkeley cross enrollment program.
BCC Student clubs, serving as an officer  in  BCC Veteran club, Phi Thea Kappa honors club, and member of the Global Studies, and BCC Debate club. Working to transfer full time to UC Berkeley, majoring in Peace and Conflict Studies for fall 2016.

Hello My name is Mohammed Sayadul Hossain and I’ve been working as a Safety Aid since August 21st 2014. Being a Safety Aid helped me challenge myself to learn more about the community, students, people, etc. It has helped me connect with people in a a very friendly way and also made me responsible as human because if anything goes wrong in the campus the Safety Aids are the first ones to know.
