Public Information Office - Berkeley City College

The Public Information Officer responsible for the developmentand dissemination of all collegecommunications for news, events, and BCC activities. This includes communications to the media and community at large, as well as internalcommunications with students, faculty, and staff. Berkeley City College works to maintain timely and open communications with the community, and the media, providing complete and accurate information that has been confirmed by administration and staff. Our most current news and information can also be found on the Berkeley City College home page and is the key medium for updating our campus community and the public on BCC happening

The Public Information Office is responsible for the overall development of messages that help promote Berkeley City College. This may include:

the point person for public information inquiries, questions regarding BCC, and BCC events
preparing and distributing news releases, news advisories, and public service announcements to digital, radio, television, and newspapers
the creation of brochures, flyers, photography, and other materials that are widely distributed throughout the college and community
