Welcome to Berkeley City College’s EOPS/CARE Program!
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is a state funded program designed to provide support services to low income and academically disadvantaged students to be successful in college.EOPS provides eligible students with support services including program orientation, early registration,  academic counseling, career guidance, academic progress monitoring, tutoring, peer advocacy, book grants, transfer assistance, and special cultural awareness activities.

Cooperative Agencies & Resources for Education (CARE) is a supplemental education support program for EOPS students designed to help single head of household parents who are receiving public assistance (Cash Aid/CalWORKs) achieve academic and personal success. CARE provides assistance with childcare and transportation costs, books and supplies, workshops designed for student parents and a parent support group.
