Cal Grant Community College Entitlement Award

Community College High Hopes Program
- DEADLINE – December 1st to March 9th
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Berkeley High School, B-Tech or Berkeley Independent Studies.
- A member of an underrepresented population (first gen, minority, poor).
- Currently enrolled at BCC and plan to enroll for the next academic year.
- Plan to apply for transfer to a 4-year college within two years of Community College attendance.
- Minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
- Complete a minimum of 12 transferable units by the end of the Fall semester.
- Enroll in a minimum of 12 transferable units for Spring.

- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate minority (African-American, Hispanic-American, Native-American, and Asian-American including Pacific Islander diasporas) students who are California residents or are actively enrolled in an accredited Community College or University in Northern California.
- Demonstrated intent to pursue a career in transportation, including (but not limited to): Transportation Planning, Transportation Engineering, Mobility as a Service, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Aviation Science, Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
- Applicants must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or above.
