Dr. Tarif Mamoon Qazi is a member of the faculty of Peralta Community College District.  He obtained his Associate Degree in Computer Science with a GPA of 4.0.  Thereafter, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Berkeley with distinction; followed by an MBA and a Doctorate in Information Systems with a GPA of 3.98.  He had previously served in the Air Force and was an employee of UC Berkeley for more than 10 years.  While in the Air Force he was a recipient of the International Military Education Trust award; and further, he received Regents’ Scholarship from UC Berkeley.  He was awarded with United Nations Organization’s Medal of Honor for his outstanding service to UNO.
