What’s Acceleration?

New research suggests that as many as 80-85% of students who begin the developmental math sequence as its currently laid out fail to complete it. This forms a major barrier to degree attainment. For more information, check out the following link: http://3csn.org/developmental-sequences/

Title III, the Basic Skills Initiative, the instructional department, math, and English are all working to transform the college into one where students succeed.

In addition, the ESL department is completely redesigning its curriculum across the district to help students move to transfer more quiclkly.
