Clashes Over Citizenship: Webinar Series on Promoting Listening, Learning, and Engagement:

The TLC and the Office of the President will be co-hosting a group viewing to the AACU webinars on Citizenship.

The US Constitution’s preamble speaks of “We the People”—but who is considered part of that sacred circle, and how has this group varied over time? When national identity is hotly contested, what does it mean to experience citizenship as partial, denied, or fully acknowledged? How can the humanities illuminate differing narratives and open up space for understanding, connections, and shared visions of the future? These seminars are designed to help faculty construct conversations and dialogues around the contested idea of citizenship.

All webinars will be held in the TLC (room 341) from 12:00-1:00 pm
