Goals of Faculty Advising

The Faculty Advisors from the instructional disciplines in collaboration with the Counseling Department will utilize a referral process between the two areas that will ensure the needs of the student are met with respect to their personal and academic development. Specifically, it is the goal of the Faculty Advising program to empower our students in a way that will equip them with the knowledge and tools necessary to make informed decisions regarding their academic/life experiences.

  • Conduct major/career related events
  • Maintain currency with respect to major/discipline developments
