Welcome to CARE.  The Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) program is for EOPS students, who are single parents, and receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). CARE also provides assistance with child care, support activities, and other college costs.


Support services provided to CARE students include: assistance with child care, transportation costs, academic/career/transfer counseling and advisement, personal development workshops, group support and referrals to campus-and community-based programs and services.


To qualify for CARE services students meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Eligible for EOPS program
  2. Single head of household and at least 18 years of age
  3. Have at least one child under the age of 14
  4. Receiving TANF  or CalWORKs

  • Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS)
