SPOTLIGHT on New Degrees and Programs

Berkeley City College is very excited to offer 11 new Associate Degrees for Transfer to CSU and also 9 Learning Communities to help students achieve their careers and goals. Several more Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADTs) are in the works and approvals are expected in the coming months.

Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADT)

If you complete an Associate Degree for Transfer — Associate in Arts (AA-T) or Associate in Science for Transfer (AS-T) — with a 2.0 GPA, you are guaranteed admission in your major or in a similar major at a California State University.

Your courses include those in your major plus CSU General Education requirements or the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC).

Earning an AA-T or AS-T degree also means extra points on your UC application!

See your counselor about how you can earn a Berkeley City College AA-T or AS-T degree.

Visit the Degrees & Certificates web page for a listing of the current and NEW AS-T and AA-T degree programs.

Berkeley City College is proud to offer 9 Learning Communities, and will hold a Town Hall during College Hour (12:15 – 1:15 PM) on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, to introduce and sign-up students into these educational areas:
