Greetings, my name is Maggie Li. I will be applying for UC transfer this fall as an Asian studies major with an emphasis on political economy. I’m grateful for being able to work as a student ambassador, because the position renders me the chance to help students with the admission process and other concerns they may have about enrolling at BCC. With the Ambassador team, I represent BCC through outreach events at high schools and on-campus tours for prospective students, which also provide me the opportunity to sharpen public speaking skills. Most importantly, I get to be the first to hear about students’ concerns, which also fosters my creativity and leadership to help them at my best.
