Today the ACCJC announced Berkeley City College was removed from warning, along with the other PCCD campuses, with BCC’s accreditation reaffirmed in 2009

Today, July 3, 2013, the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (“ACCJC”) made public institutional actions taken at its June 2013 meeting. The ACCJC’s July 3, 2013, Accreditation Status Letter confirms that BCC’s accreditation was reaffirmed in 2009. Please visit BCC’s Accreditation website for more information about the process.

The Chancellor of the Peralta Community College District, Dr, José M. Ortiz, is pleased to announce that ACCJC’s actions included Berkeley City College and Laney College being removed from warning and College of Alameda and Merritt College being removed from warning and having accreditation reaffirmed.
