Petitions for AA/AS Degree or Certificate of Completion Due to the District by Friday, March 22

Final Petitions are due to the District by March 22, but students need to submit their petitions to BCC Counseling Office by March 18 to allow for adequate review and revision time.

Step 1:

Pick up the petition form at the Admissions and Records Department (1st Floor).

Step 2:

Fill out the petition completely and meet with a counselor (2nd floor in Counseling Center).

Please include your Student Identification Number – you may use your Student Identification Number instead of your SSN.

If you went to other colleges/universities that are NOT part of the Peralta Community College District – please have copies of your transcripts attached to the petition when you turn it in. Remember: Your official transcripts must be on file with the Peralta Community College District to receive an AA/AS degree or Certificate.

Step 3:

The counselor you meet with will review your petition – if there are additions, questions, etc., the counselor will call or e-mail you. So please include your contact number and/or e-mail address on the petition.
