19 February 2013

BCC Service Community is pleased to announce its first major transfer events:  two workshops aimed at providing insight into how to find resources to pay for college and how to effectively complete scholarship applications and write scholarship essays. BCCSC will be hosting two Scholarship Workshops on Wednesday, February 27 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 and Thursday, February 28 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in room 051 of the BCC basement. BCCSC is partnered with the BCC Transfer and Career Information Center.

The Berkeley City College Service Community (BCCSC) is a student-led service program located in room 051 at the Berkeley City College campus. BCCSC brings UC Berkeley and Berkeley City College students together in service to develop leadership and assist community college students in the transfer process. Our mission is to increase support for prospective transfer students and provide them with enhanced leadership and service opportunities. BCCSC hosts a series of transfer and scholarship workshops each academic year in addition to our peer advising program and Shadow Days on the UC Berkeley campus.
