This program prepares students interested in entering the health and human services field by providing them with contextualized learning, peer support, and workplace experience. While many students enter the program primarily to increase their chances of finding a job, many have continued to pursue their AA degrees and are preparing to transfer.
Who should join?
Students interested in the health and human services fields, and willing to participate in a cohort of like-minded students. They will also need to take the full list of classes below.
Real Work Experience!!:
Students will be offered a chance to volunteer at a number of different agencies and offices in the area. Some of our students have earned employment through these opportunities.
