Treasurer – Anuska Khawaunju

My name is Anuska Khawaunju, and I am the Inter-Club Council (ICC) Treasurer. I was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. After I graduated and completed my schooling from St. Mary’s High School in 2013, I moved to the SF Bay Area in efforts to pursue higher education. I am currently majoring in Business Administration, with concentration in Finance and Economics. My experience of coming from a developing country, molded within me the ability to utilize limited amount of resources to generate something strong and sustainable. It also helped me find a deeper sense of purpose such as women’s right, child education, and the elimination of poverty. I will create a system that blends my passion for social responsibilities and merge them with my interest in the fast-paced financial industry. To begin, as an ICC Treasurer, I shall aim to ensure that the financial health and stability of ICC is retained in order for the clubs to successfully fund their events and activities, and for the greater benefit of the diverse Berkeley City College Community. Please feel free to contact me with queries and concerns regarding any aspect of my duties.
