The Summer of Love
Lois taught high school civics during the turbulent late 60s, and insisted her students know their rights in case they were ever stopped by police. She was among the seekers experimenting with communal living and Eastern spirituality. She opened her home to the young runaways adrift on the streets of Berkeley and San Francisco, searching for a Summer of Love utopia. She believed in people. And in creating the life you wanted to live.
