COURSE WORKLOAD
How much time do you need to set aside for this class? An online class requires more of a student because you are working independently. You need to be highly motivated. A regular lecture class requires three lecture hours plus six hours of private study. In this three unit online class, you should plan to study for at least ten hours a week. Remember, you don't have to take time to travel to class.
ATTENDANCE AND CLASS PARTICIPATION
Regular and active participation is an essential requirement of this class. All assignments and contributions to class discussion must be submitted on time. I expect you to log in at least twice a week to find your assignments, quizzes, and discussion topics. If you do not log in to the online class for more than ten days without contacting the instructor, YOU MAY BE DROPPED.
